For all domestic shipping within the Continental United States:
Standard shipping is USPS First Class, which includes tracking.
If you would like to receive your items sooner after they ship (2-4 business days), USPS Priority Shipping upgrade is available in the shop. This does not speed up the standard production time.
If you would like to receive your order sooner than 2-4 business days, you may message me to purchase a Express Mail shipping upgrade item. This, however, does not speed up the standard production time.
Once your order has been shipped, Alger Designs is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or undelivered items.
For all international orders:
First Class USPS is standard for International shipping. You may request a shipping upgrade, which can result in additional fees. International First Class Shipping can take anywhere from several days to several months to receive. Alger Designs is not responsible for lost or undelivered items. You may contact Alger Designs for a shipping upgrade to USPS Priority International Shipping, which will result in additional fees. Priority International Shipping is more reliable and the recommended way of shipping internationally.
INTERNATIONAL DUTIES, CUSTOMS, AND TAXES
The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient; Alger Designs has no control over these charges, nor can Alger Designs predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
No returns allowed on any individual and final SALE/CLEARANCE items. This does not include shop wide sales and discounts.
In the event that you are not 100% satisfied with any item you purchase, we accept returns on any item (other than individual and final SALE/CLEARANCE and any special/custom requested items) that is unworn and has the hang-tag intact. This applies to any product shipped with defects in craftsmanship or material. Please contact us through our Etsy shop to approve a return. We reserve the right to deny refund to sender without prior return approval. Only unworn items will be accepted for returns/exchange within 14 days of when item was delivered to you.
Any returned item must be in its original condition, and all tags need to be intact. Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please allow for a period of up to 14 business days for us to process the refund.
If your order is approved for return and exchange, your exchange will be placed in the production line in the order in which it is examined and approved for exchange (this may result in the standard wait time it takes to receive orders). If there is a fault in production you must contact Alger Designs with the order number and explain in detail what the problem is. You may be asked to provide digital photo(s) of the problem before Alger Designs agrees to remake your item. If there is a fault in production and you are approved for an exchange, your order will be placed at the front of the production line.
Custom items are unique to their owners and their preferences. As such, custom requests/orders will not be refunded, adjusted, or accepted for exchange. Please do not return any custom request items.
Sale items are final and for no reason can be returned, exchanged, or refunded.
If your order has been accepted to be processed or considered for return/refund/exchange, all items must be:
1. Returned/post marked within 14 days of receiving your order.
2. Returned in original packaging with all original tags and labels in tact
3. In new condition, both unworn and unwashed.
TIGHT AND/OR UNDERGARMENTS MUST BE WORN WHEN TRYING ON, OTHERWISE THE ITEM WILL BE CONSIDERED USED OR SOILED.
DO NOT SEND ANYTHING BACK TO ALGER DESIGNS UNLESS YOU HAVE CONFIRMATION.
Items returned that do not comply with shop policies will be discarded, or returned at the customers' expense. Only items bought directly from official representatives may be returned. Returns and exchanges are not admissible on discounts or items that have been specially adjusted or damaged during transport/shipping.
To return your product for refund, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Rush fees and special order charges will not be refunded.
Our products are not authorized for resale. Any attempt to return an item purchased through a third party will render our return policy void.
We do not offer custom measurement sizing. Sizes offered are adult sizes only:
XS - Extra Small
S - Small
M - Medium
L - Large
For custom orders and made to order items, pattern design and completion of item usually takes 3-4 weeks after buyer agrees on the design of the order. During the busy season (typically September-February), orders can take up to 10 weeks to ship. Expedited Service may be available. Please feel free to inquire about current production times and if you would like your order sooner.
All orders must be paid in advanced. (No items will be made prior to payment).
Sizing offered extends from Adult Extra Extra Small (XXS) to Adult Large (L). Custom sizing and children's sizing is not offered.
Please note, custom requests will be held for a maximum of 5 business days before expiring. Materials being held for custom requests will be placed for sale to the general public after the 5 day deadline. To ensure your materials do not run out, please make sure to purchase your custom order within 5 days of the listing being created.
Custom and made to order requests may require additional information to process your order. Buyers will have 7 days to provide any necessary information requested. If Alger Designs does not receive any of the required information within 7 days of contacting you, your order may be cancelled and refunded. If construction has started on any items, up 20% of your order may be non-refundable due to loss of materials. All fees on custom orders for materials, rush, and other special services are non-refundable.
